Dave is your season 6 winner of Hell's Kitchen

Tonight it was between Dave and Kevin for the winner of Hell's Kitchen and Dave won it. Both Dave and Kevin had a decent final dinner service but I think the problems on Kevin's team cost him the victory. I would have been happy for either of them to win as I think both are strong chefs and either would have been deserving of the win.

What Dave went through to win was amazing. He did so well with only one arm and his determination was inspiring. Some things in life are not easy and you have to deal with the pain and Dave more than dealt with it.

Kevin was a little bit cocky at times but he has the skills to back it up. Sometimes I don't think he was in it to help the team but to win, you have to think of yourself too.

Overall, it was a very entertaining season with some highlights being Joseph's bitch fest, Tennille's comeback and heart, Robert coming back for another season, Van's getting into Jean-Phillipe's face, and more. This season also seemed to have more injuries than usual seasons. I couldn't help but grimace whenever they showed Kevin rolling his ankle and it was tough for me to watch Andy cut his fingertips on the mandolin. Ouch.

I did get a little lazy during the end of the show and my blog posts could have been better but I thank everyone for contributing and no thanks to the person that made links in their posts to a site with spyware on it. Good night Tennille

Tonight was the night when Tennille got eliminated from Hell's Kitchen. During the challenge, she won and got to spend a pampered day getting a makeover and eating at Nobu. Did that make her soft during dinner service? It appeared so as she crashed and burned while making the fish dishes.

During the show, a mini version of Gordon Ramsay provided some comic relief. That was very funny and for the challenge, the chefs had made vegetarian dishes for a pack of kids. Tennille won the challenge and Ariel, Dave and Kevin were left to clean up the huge mess left from the kids. And did anyone catch a glimpse of the werewolf, Jean Phillippe? The man needs to shave that hairy chest! lol

Now it is down to the final three, Ariel, Dave and Kevin. I think it will be between Ariel and Kevin. Dave has heart and determination with only one arm working but it will probably do him in.

Suzanne is finally gone

Tonight Suzanne finally got sent home so that leaves Ariel, Dave, Kevin and Tennille as the final four. All five chefs were on the hot seat during dinner service and Gordon sent Suzanne home for being up for elimination too many times and for her ability on the line.

For the first time that I can remember, Gordon really tore into Kevin this week because he overcooked the rice for the risotto. But then again, everyone got their share of abuse for good reasons. Raw chicken and fish were sent to the pass more than once but hey at least it looks like no food got sent back. When Gordon was pissed and said, "bleep me", "bleep me", "bleep me", "bleep me", that was hilarious.

The punishment tonight was funny to watch but not fun for the chefs as they had to do cleanup on a street, picking up trash from the grassy hill. Tennille was complaining and it was driving Dave crazy. That was funny to watch Dave complain about Tennille's complaining.

It's down to the final four and I think the next one to go is either Ariel or Dave. It could go down to Kevin and Tennille for the final. How about that? I know some people don't like Tennille but she works hard and is entertaining to watch but does she have what it takes to win it all?

Two for the price of one!

Tonight thankfully there were two episodes of Hell's Kitchen in a row since last week they had that awful More To Love show on.

Tonight, Sabrina got the boot in the first show and Van got kicked off in the second show. Sabrina was a weak link that needed to be eliminated and Van screwed up on the fish dishes two nights in a row to send him packing.

So now it is down to the final five and it seems to me that the easy choice for elimination next time would be Suzanne. Tennille has been very strong and even though many people don't like her because of her loud mouth, I think she has shown heart and determination. I however think it will come down to Dave and Kevin for the winner. What do you think?

Andy is no longer handy!

On tonight's episode of Hell's Kitchen, Andy got sent home. During the men's punishment when they were prepping for both kitchens, Andy cut his fingertips badly on a mandolin. He had to be sent to the hospital and he made it back to dinner service and was completely lost. He didn't know the menu and had a difficult time working with only one good hand. I have worked in the restaurant industry and I have seen people getting their fingertips cut off and it's not pretty. I couldn't watch when it happened on the show. Thankfully they didn't show it too much.

For tonight's challenge, the teams had to make four different crepe dishes (breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert crepe dishes) in 20 minutes. That was a very difficult challenge and both teams didn't have great luck with making crepes but they did end up getting all the dishes done. The highlight of the challenge was Dave's desert crepe and when Gordon Ramsay said it looked like a plate of diarrhea. That was hilarious! Dave does have great potential but that dish did look horrible. The women won and they were off to a nice French restaurant and for mime lessons. The mime lesson I could have lived without but the French food looked phenomenal.

Dinner service was a mess for both teams and Gordon sent off Andy along with Sabrina and Suzanne, leaving Ariel, Tennille, Dave, Kevin and Van to finish the dinner service. All those remaining five were strong with dinner service. Van was a little bit in the background but he didn't do anything bad that we could see.

At elimination, Ariel sent up Andy and Suzanne and Gordon sent Andy home. After that, Sabrina joined Suzanne and for a second, it seemed there might have been a double elimination but Gordon moved Suzanne to the men's team for next episode. So now it will be Ariel, Sabrina and Tennille against Dave, Kevin, Suzanne and Van. Next week's episode it looks like Dave injures himself again and he may not be able to continue. Knowing how the previews make the shows look worse than they are, I don't think Dave will be sent home.

This week, it was Amanda got sent home. The red team sent up Suzanne and Sabrina for elimination but Gordon Ramsay also brought up Amanda for elimination.

Apparently, the editing for this weeks show was bad as a bunch of people commented that they saw Tek on this weeks show but she was sent home on the August 11th show. Once I see some evidence of this, I will post it on the site. Supposedly there is video of it on YouTube.

Robert is gone for good

On this week's episode of Hell's Kitchen, Robert got sent home. Andy, Van and Robert got put up for elimination this week and Van was quickly sent back. Then Robert and Andy took off the gloves and went at each other. They didn't mince any words, with Robert leading the way. Perhaps that was Robert's downfall because Gordon said that while the elimination was exciting, he's looking for a chef, not an entertainer.

During the challenge, each team had to make up a dish on the spot using ingredients that were decided on the roll of the dice. The men picked some odd ingredients including haddock, figs and tomatoes but they pulled it off and won over the women due to the women's rabbit dish was overpowered by garlic. The men got to go to Las Vegas and live the high life for a day while the women took charge of accepting deliveries. One delivery came in at 1:15 am, which was a bunch of crap. What kind of deliveries come at 1:15 am? That was just one last bit of punishment before the next day started.

During dinner service, both teams had their issues and the women won. Robert sent out something raw and Van sent out fish with plastic wrap on it not once but twice. That is why Robert and Van got sent up for elimination. Andy now looks like the weak link on the men's team. He's not horrible but I don't think he has what it takes to make it all the way. Dave and Kevin look the strongest from the men's team even though Gordon saw Kevin's true colors tonight and how he looks out for himself and if someone else looks bad, it makes him look good attitude. For the women, it's a tougher call, perhaps Ariel will make it far. Tennille isn't too bad, she is a underdog even some people don't like her. Amanda sits back too much, Suzanne is bossy and annoying and Sabrina doesn't seem like she has what it takes to make it all the way either.

Tennille vs. Gordon!

Tennille tonight was in rare form and she wasn't going to be taking any crap from Gordon. She was getting picked on big time from Gordon on the appetizer station and she couldn't take it. Sure, Gordon's demands can be difficult but Tennille couldn't suck it up and give Gordon what he wanted. She broke and really, I don't blame her. Gordon picked her to ride this episode it seemed. I guess Gordon figured she was on the edge on being sent home and wanted to be sure she went over the edge hard.

The challenge was very difficult this week. To make an appetizer, entree and dessert all under 700 calories, that is difficult and to get it all done in 45 minutes is nuts. I commend the chefs for completing it.

The red team won the challenge and got to spend the day on Venice Beach while the men got to do prep for both kitchens. The men also had to ride some kind of strange, 6 seat bicycle contraption. Robert again got overwhelmed and had to be rushed to the emergency room. I hope he is okay but does he really deserve to be on the show if he has to be sent to the hospital every season? He seems like a nice guy but really, they better not bring him back again if he can't make it further this season. The best looking women from the red team on the beach were Ariel, Amanda and Sabrina. Suzanne looked boring and Tennille looked drab.

This episode's dinner service was extremely bad. Nobody really looked good on either team and there was a couple chefs on each team that brought the team down. It was very painful to watch. Raw pork was sent out, risotto couldn't be cooked properly, halibut wasn't being sent out right, the appetizers were sub par, and on and on.

During elimination, the women chose Sabrina to go up for elimination and the men picked Robert in a low move. Andy, Dave or Jim needed to go up for elimination. Robert was in the hospital and most likely is done for this season as well. If the dinner service was better, Gordon probably would have not sent anyone home since Robert was pretty much out of it but with that pathetic dinner service, someone had to go!

So who got sent home? Not Tennille, it was Jim for his lack of heart and drive.

Tek is cut

During this week's episode of Hell's Kitchen, Tek was lost on the meats station and the ladies didn't get any entrees out and had to have the men finish up their service. Really, anyone on the ladies team could have been eliminated in my opinion. When you don't even complete a service and have to have the other team, the blame can't go just on one person but Tek was the weakest link this week.

Hell's Kitchen is no longer Lovely

This week, Lovely was sent home from Hell's Kitchen. During services, Lovely didn't seem to get into gear and was laid back a bit too much. She previously left the kitchen during service and when she had to be a waitress, she waited a long time before even putting in her first order.

During the sausage challenge, the women got to make six links of six sausages before the men did and they were rewarded a day out at a German restaurant. For some reason, it didn't look like Gordon went along with them on the challenge. Did anyone else notice that? I wonder why he wasn't there. During the whole sausage challenge, I couldn't help but laugh at what some of the comments were and putting them into sexual context. There might be another song soon with some sausage clips! lol

The men lost the challenge and had to clean the dorms. Robert went off and didn't like having to clean up after everyone. He went off the deep end for a bit in this episode during the challenge and during dinner service where he was very loud. He did reel it in and managed to keep himself out of the fire.

Andy during service was not having any luck with the lamb, sending out chops that were below Gordon's standards. He also sent up raw chicken for the men's last dish that could have cost them the victory but the ladies lost because Lovely couldn't get the side dishes out in time and the men edged them out.

At elimination, Sabrina put up Lovely and Tek up for elimination. Gordon called out Suzanne during elimination and asked her for her opinion on who should be eliminated and she selected Lovely. After an angry face from Lovely, Gordon Ramsay agreed with Suzanne and sent Lovely home.

This week's episode brought things back down to a normal level with the Joseph drama over. The only blowup was from Robert and him and Kevin got into each others faces a little but they got over it. Next week looks like to be one of those tearjerker shows for a little then back to the same Hell. It also appears that Tennille is coming into her own from the preview of the next week's episode.

Hell's Kitchen - Joseph no more!

The beginning sequence of this week's Hell's Kitchen put a wrap on the Joseph insanity. He got up in Gordon's face and quickly, two bouncer's show up to assist in case Joseph did something even more stupid. Would have Gordon actually gone outside to get into a fist fight with Joseph? No I don't think so. Joseph kept calling Gordon a bitch and even gave the finger to everyone when he left. What an immature ass! Joseph even had the nerve to say that he will go back to work and anyone would hire him! Yeah right! He better leave Hell's Kitchen off his resume and hope that a potential employer doesn't watch the show or look his name up on the internet!

After Joseph left with much idiocy, Andy and Tony were on the chopping block with Tony going home as well. Tony didn't seem like he had the kitchen skills to make it to the end so he seemed like an easy cut to me.

The challenge was to cook for a brigade of firefighters past 2 in the morning. The menu was simplified with chicken and pasta alfredo or spaghetti and meatballs. The only choice for an appetizer was garlic bread. It was a pretty easy menu to pull of bet at after 2 am, I can understand if they were all sluggish and groggy. Andy couldn't get the garlic bread done for the firefighters in time and in the end, the red team won.

While the red team was off getting pampered, the blue team had a very tough punishment where they first had to clean the fire trucks and then clean the restaurant. While cleaning, Dave injured his wrist and Kevin badly sprained his ankle. That looked very painful and was very difficult to watch his ankle get twisted the way it did.

During dinner service, both teams had their issues. Tennille was struggling to get scallops out with everyone telling her this and that. She couldn't bear down and just shut them out and cook the scallops properly. Lovely took 45 minutes to put in her first order as a member of the wait staff. Amanda looked a little rough in the meats section and getting the correct number of lamb chops to the pass.

In the blue team, Robert forgot to put in a salmon and cost the team to finish before the women. Robert did look flustered and out of his game. He needs to get it back together and fast, before he finds himself being nominated to be sent home.

It was another good episode and good to see Joseph go. From what I have seen so far, I think the strongest person on the red team is Ariel and the strongest person on the blue team is Kevin. Ariel took charge and led the red team during service and Kevin, with a cast of sorts on both feet took charge of the blue team. That took some determination and guts. Who do you think is the favorite to win on both teams?

Season 6 begins with a bang and some ass kicking!

Holy shit! This season of Hell's Kitchen is shaping up to be the most violent ever! Where to start? Well there was Van and Jean Phillipe going at it but Joseph stole the show! What is up with this guy? Does he belong in an insane asylum? Wow! All he had to do was pick two from his team to go on the chopping block but he started going off on dumb shit. Joseph doesn't deserve to be on the show. The other chefs were trying to assist him but he blew them off by telling them to fuck off or whatever. Did I mention that this guy is a nut case? How can you get in Gordon's face and want to fight? Does Joseph have insane voices in his head trying to pick a fight with him? What was that all of a sudden him talking about him not being a bitch? Who said anything to him about being a bitch??? Insane! It looks like he is going to go off next week on either Gordon, the set or someone. Unbelievable!

Before the nut house of Joseph, we got the pleasure of seeing Robert coming back to the show. Robert seems like a genuine good guy and it was sad to see him go in Season 5. I wish him only the best. Louie got kicked out in the middle of dinner service and he went a little bit off but of course nothing like Joseph. Also going was Melinda. She was a bit odd. She seemed in her own world and seemed a little off. I thought Louie could have lasted a little longer but Melinda seemed deserved to go.

Well it looks that Joseph for sure will be sent home next week. Or maybe to the hospital, jail or both. I can't imagine him continuing on. He has a very strong personality but it is too strong and off balance. After him, who knows will go home. They left one hell of a cliff hanger at the end of the show!

Hell's Kitchen Season 5 Finale

Season five is now over and the winner was....LACEY! Only kidding, it was Danny! It could have been anyone's ballgame and it was probably an extremely difficult decision made by Gordon Ramsay. I wish Danny all the luck and to Paula as well. Both are from Florida as am I so it was good to see a Floridian win.

During dinner service, Lacey was her usual self with her whining and complaining. I really thought they brought her back just to get all the viewers sick to their stomachs! During dinner service, Giovanni didn't care and didn't want to be there but he is no Paula and he couldn't bring down his team like Paula can.

Overall the 5th season of Hell's Kitchen was very entertaining with many great contestants and moments in the season. I wish only the best for everyone that put up with Hell and thank you for letting me view this crazy part of your lives.

Thank you for everyone who watched this blog, voted and made comments. I hope everyone enjoyed my small reviews and thoughts of the weeks and the Hell's Kitchen songs that I made. I will be keeping up with this block for Season 6 and beyond. I also hope they bring back Kitchen Nightmares for another season. If they do, I will blog about that as well.

Episode 14 Wrapup

Tonight was the last show before the finale and pretty much wasn't anything too eventful going on. There was a nice 10 minute intro at the beginning of the show that showed what happened up until the final two. Danny won the challenge which left Lacey on Paula's team for the season finale. Danny got to pick first and he picked Ben which is an okay pick as long as he isn't on the meat station. Paula picked Andrea first and that was an alright pick. Of course Lacey got picked last and we had to suffer through another episode seeing her ugly face and grating voice.

I still think it will be Paula that will win it however.

Episode 13 Wrapup

Well the seven votes that were received were correct. The third wheel that got eliminated tonight was Andrea and it leaves just Paula and Danny in the final show next week. During the dinner service, all three had their weak and strong moments and it was hilarious seeing Andrea really drill into Scott. I think she was way too over the top and was just knit picking at things that weren't there and Scott really was pissed. I don't think that was an act and he really was annoyed. That was classic!

Paula won the challenge tonight after cooking for 100 top chefs in the Los Angeles area. Danny's dish was horribly received and 76% of the chefs didn't like his dish. One snobby chef said something like how dare he use halibut in his dish! What an ass. Paula got a nice reward with a makeover and a spot on a morning show with Gordon Ramsay.

Next week is the week where they bring in the former contestants to "help" Paula and Danny. Why in the f&#k did they bring Lacey back and where was Ji? Why do we have to suffer through another show with Lacey's whining. I'm not looking forward to that at all. Ji I think should have been there because I think she had potential. It will also be interesting to see if Carol gets picked on Paula's team since her and Paula did not mix well in previous shows.

I think that Paula will win it all but I like both final two contestants. I have heard some things online that influence my opinion on that but I will not mention that.

Next week is the finale and I hope everyone has enjoyed this blog and I plan to keep it up when the next season of Hell's Kitchen starts. I will also start a blog if and when hopefully Kitchen Nightmare's comes back on so stay tuned.

Episode 12 Wrapup

And then there were three...

This week on Hell's Kitchen, Ben got eliminated. He took it well and it could have been either him or Andrea. Ben was humbled by his experience and bowed out like a gentleman. When they were trying to decide on who to select to be eliminated, Ben was quite full of himself and he honestly believed that he was not one of the worst during dinner service.

Danny finally won a challenge in recreating a fish stew that Gordon Ramsay cooked for them. That was an extremely difficult challenge to try and recreate a dish that was prepared for them just based on taste. I think that Danny won the challenge because he was constantly tasting the original dish to make sure he was putting the correct ingredients in his dish.

Danny and Gordon went on a bi plane adventure and Danny got the pilot of his plane to do a loop. I wanted to see Gordon's pilot send him for a loop! That would have gotten lots of beeps from the censor if that happened. Just imagine the oh shit, fuck me bombs he would be dropping if he was looping in that plane!

The three left now are Andrea, Danny and Paula. I think it's pretty obvious that Andrea is the weak link and I don't think she will make it past next week's episode. Also in next week's episode it looks like they will be cooking for their relatives and loved ones. Either that or some of the contestants from previous shows will return but I think it is family and they might do both family and old contestants on one show. It would be nice to see Robert back if possible and Ji but please no Lacey or Colleen!

Episode 11 Wrapup

Tonight on Hell's Kitchen it was Robert who was eliminated from the show. He didn't make it to the end unfortunately, he had to go to the hospital for a heart condition and he couldn't continue on. It was sad to see Robert go because he seems like such a good guy and he could have won the whole thing but we will never know now.

In the beginning of the show, Gordon Ramsay made it look like he was shutting down Hell's Kitchen for good but it was just a ruse to make the remaining five chefs want it more. Maybe it was that shock that set Robert's heart off a bit but probably not. A heart condition is something that you don't suddenly get. I'm no doctor but I am pretty sure that you don't get some heart condition in a day.

During dinner service both Andrea and Ben were horrible. Both looked like deer in headlights and they were spaced out and not cooking things properly. Andrea did have immunity for winning the challenge this week so she was safe but her ass should have been going home because she was just slightly worse than Ben this week.

Well now it's down to the final four and I think it will come down to Paula and Danny. Both Ben and Andrea are not strong enough to win and they both showed it in this week's episode of Hell's Kitchen.

Episode 10 Wrapup

Tonight's Hell's Kitchen was one surprise after another. In the beginning, it looked like Gordon was going to get rid of someone, either Ben or Andrea, he told them it was just a uniform change to an one kitchen wearing black. Black was a good theme for the remaining six chefs because they were pretty much all burnt. Andrea got removed from the kitchen for a bit, Ben did his usual sub-par service and Robert was lost. Only Paula and Danny looked halfway decent tonight.

During the punishment, Giovanni was refusing to help after a while because he was old. Giovanni tonight during service was lost and he put a hot pan of beef wellington in the fridge and he burned Robert's hand pretty bad. I don't think he did it on purpose of course but that was just a straight up dumb ass thing to do. Giovanni also stood up and talked back to Chef Ramsay during service and that was what I think did him in. His poor service and attitude towards Chef Ramsay got him kicked off this week.

Next week, supposedly Hell's Kitchen gets shut down but I think it is just a ploy from Chef Ramsay to see if any of the remaining five chefs really have the desire to win. This episode was the one that set Gordon off and this week's show I think was the angriest he has ever been this season. At this point, I think it is Danny that will win it all and either Ben or Andrea will be gone next week.

Episode 9 Wrapup

In the April 2nd episode of Hell's Kitchen, it was Carol who was removed from the show. Carol's downfall was not making the potatoes correctly and sending out them undercooked. She was very confident in those potatoes (don't ask me to spell out the name of them!) and that they would be perfect. However, instead of having them done and only having to reheat them during service, she only par cooked them and expected them to be done during dinner service.

Ben and Robert were put on the chopping block but Gordon called Carol out from her comfy perch and got rid of her. I saw that coming to be honest. It had to be either Carol or Ben tonight. Ben seems to have a chip on his shoulder and he tries to cook over his head. Doesn't Chef Ramsay like simple, clean yet elegant food? I would try and focus on making food tasty instead of trying to make it into an non-edible piece of art.

Tonight's challenge was a rare one as there was no tie breaker like there always is. Chef Ramsay passed on Ben and Andrea's dishes and instead had Danny and Paula's dishes determine the challenge winner. I think that Paula's dish sounded better and looked better but it was the blue team that won the challenge and we got to see Robert ride some huge ass bike! That was funny!

Next week's episode looks really good and there may be a double elimination perhaps. Supposedly Gordon will also be doing something he has never done before so we will have to see what that is. Maybe by next week it will be down to the final four cut from the six remaining? My picks for the final four would be Andrea, Danny, Robert and Paula. If you had to pick a final four, who would it be and why? I think Andrea and Danny are really strong contestants and Robert and Paula are underdogs who could pull out the win.

Tonight was the night that Lacey FINALLY got kicked off Hell's Kitchen. Lacey was announced that she was running the meat station and when I found that out, I knew she had to be gone. Lacey didn't make it to the elimination and she got kicked off during service because she was whining and bitching and clueless. She told Gordon Ramsay that she doesn't know how to cook meats. Gordon kicked her out once and gave her one more chance to save herself and that didn't last long and in the blink of an eye, she was kicked off for good!

Tonight was also a two for one elimination. Also getting kicked off was LA. I really didn't think that Gordon would have kicked off two people on one show so I wasn't expecting that. LA wasn't too bad in the kitchen, she just seemed like she was always sleepy and needed to wake up.

The highlights of the show were of course Lacey getting kicked off and Robert splitting his pants during service. Robert has a great attitude in the kitchen and I can see him making it to the final two. The others that I think can go far are Giovanni and Danny. I really don't think any of the remaining women has what it takes and Ben seems to me the weakest of the remaining three men. It's down to the last seven and the red team has four people left and the blue team only has three so it could be a red team member that goes to even it out or else there will be a switch over team member again.

Who got kicked off Hell's Kitchen on March 19th? It was J this week. J wasn't even able to finish dinner service. He was not cooking anything properly and Gordon Ramsay couldn't wait until the end of dinner service to get rid of him. While J seemed like a nice guy, he couldn't hang on the line so he got the boot.

With J getting kicked off during service, you could pretty much bet nobody would be eliminated at the end of the show and that is exactly what happened. Lacey and Ben were put in the spotlight in front of Chef Ramsay and Lacey survived yet another show. I really think Lacey is staying around for ratings. She's the person everyone loves to hate. Every week I think Lacey will be gone but week after week she slides on through to the next show.

Gordon was riding Ben this week as well because he wasn't able to cook the meats at all. I think if Ben is to make it, he really needs to learn how to cook those wellington's and have some common sense and cook on clean pans. I don't get how some of these contestants think they can get away with sending out undercooked food, hiding food and being dirty. I guess the stress of the kitchen overrides common sense.

The Carol and Andrea bickering is annoying and I think Carol is the weaker of the two but it's hard to tell with all the bitching and complaining about each other. It's a good thing that Giovanni moved over to the red team and saved their asses. Without Giovanni, the red team would have been the losing team and maybe one of them would have been eliminated during service.

Next week's episode looks like there are no winners. Maybe everyone's prayers will be answered and Lacey will get her dopey, fat ass eliminated but i'm sure that she will slide again and it will be someone else like Ben or Carol but who knows with Hell's Kitchen. It makes for some good television in my opinion even if every challenge ends up in a tie breaker every single week.

Who got kicked off Hell's Kitchen on March 12th? It was Coi this week. During the preview of the show, I saw that Chef Ramsay was focusing his attention on her and I thought that it might be her week to be gone. She really did have a bad dinner service and she deserved to go this week. That Andrea was painful to watch this week. The bickering and bitching between the women on the red team is getting annoying. They all want to stab each other in the back and show off and not work together. That is not the way to win challenges.

Lacey is still in the race but judging by the preview for next week's show, she might be gone. It looks like she again will walk out and not do her work. That can't happen and if you are going to work in a restaurant, you can't give up just because things don't go your way.

Is it me or all the challenges a tie breaker? Did they pay off the bar mitzvah kid to make sure that it was a tie so it could be more dramatic? Every week, there is a tie breaker for the challenge. That's just the "reality" of reality tv I guess. There are 10 chefs left; 5 men and 5 women. There's still lots of cutting to be done. I wonder if there will be a week of Hell's Kitchen when two chefs go home. That would be interesting...

Goodbye Colleen!

Tonight's episode was quite a shocker with Colleen finally getting kicked off the show. She didn't get too much of Gordon's wrath but she did get her share. It was good to get rid of her finally because she always seemed to be on another planet.

Lacey was surprisingly well tonight after her origami save. She was looking like her dopey usual self for the first half of the show but I saw a side of her that I didn't know she had in her. She was taking control in the kitchen at least before Andrea screwed things up in the meat station.

Now with both Seth and Collen gone, it is tough to think of who should be gone from the show next week. Tonight's episode, Giovanni did a good job as well as LA. I think that J and Andrea just had a couple bad nights and they didn't deserve to go.

Robert tonight was hilarious with saying he could mix Captain Crunch and filet mignon and when he mooned the camera. Thank god they blurred that out! It was nice to see Chef Ramsay sympathize with Robert and not call him Bobby anymore. That was a rare touching moment in the show.

Episode 4 wrapup

Seth is gone! Seth is GONE! Thank god! It was good to see him finally get booted. He was very annoying and listening to him week after week was absolutely horrible!

This episode made just about everyone look bad. It seems every show there are a couple people that Gordon picks on but this week it was just about everyone. This was the first time seeing Coi within spitting range of Gordon's fury from what I remember. This episode was strange too as Lacey wasn't really that annoying as she usually is.

It was good to see the men lose the challenge. It wasn't really that difficult of a punishment in my opinion and they should have gotten everything done instead of bickering with each other. If I were in that punishment, I would have put down my head and worked my ass off to get things done. You have to work hard in the cooking business. It is a tough field to be in and it's not all celebrity chefs and fancy meals. You have to get your hands dirty.

Robert's impression of Gordon Ramsay was hilarious! I really didn't notice how Gordon holds his hands at his sides and pulls on his jacket. Great job with that Robert but you forgot to add a "yes?" to a few sentences!

Next week's show looks to be very interesting as well. I sure don't want to see the uncensored version of next week's show! Thank god for the blur covering Robert's mooning! And what about Lacey moving over to the men's team? That should start even more bickering between the men and I think they will lose next week's challenge because a lack of teamwork.

In closing, it was fantastic to see Seth go. Who will go next? My hope is Colleen. She's on her own planet and needs to go to her overpriced teaching gig. Who do you think will be gone next week and what were your thoughts on tonight's show?

Episode 3 Wrapup

I will call these things episodes instead of weeks since last week there was not a show.

Episode three was a bit of a shock to see Charlie go and not Seth. Seth was absolutely sucking up to absolutely try and stay in the competition. How far up Gordon's ass do you absolutely have to put your head in there? That was an absolute pathetic display.

Another show went by and Lacey and Colleen are still in the running as well. Colleen, Lacey and Seth need to be picked off one by one. Lacey is an annoying whiner and she thinks she is all that. Colleen is a space cadet living on some other world and needs to come back to earth so Gordon can kick her off. And of course Seth the stalker absolutely needs to go! With Seth saying "absolutely" so many times when he was rambling on about why he should stay just might give me some more sound clips to make another Hell's Kitchen song.

The challenge this week was a tough one and I don't think I could have put all the right names of the cuts on the cow. Oh and how about the suck up Seth saying he was confident that he got 6 or 7 right but he ended up getting seven wrong! That was hilarious!

I would say that Colleen, Lacey or Seth would get cut next week but who knows? We have seen the unpredictable so far with Wil, Ji and Charlie getting booted so far. Hopefully Colleen, Lacey or Seth will be gone after next episode but at this point, i'm not expecting it.

Any other thoughts anyone?

Week two wrapup

Week two is over and it was very disappointing to see that Colleen and Lacey were saved by Ji's unfortunate accident. Lacey did actually get a little better but Colleen was so useless, it was pathetic. Colleen has to go next week, followed quickly by Lacey. Lacey might have some renewed confidence but she is annoying and it is painful to have to listen to her big mouth every week!

The blue team did very well and Danny stepped up and did really well. I still think the weak link on the team is Seth. It was quite strange when he was on the boat with Gordon and telling him all the personal information that he knew about him. It was a shame that Robert couldn't take the helicopter and had to take the ferry! Why didn't they have the whole blue team take the ferry? I guess they had a time limit and taking the ferry is too long. So if Robert was just in for a boring ferry ride, they should have given him the option to stay or go.

Week one wrapup

Well week one is over and it is great to have Hell's Kitchen back on the air!

It looks like the chefs/cooks are better this time around but there are enough dopes to keep it interesting. The biggest losers so far in my opinion seem to be Lacey for the women and Seth for the men. Lacey is very annoying and she doesn't know what the hell she is doing. Seth just doesn't seem to care. He needs to get some inspiration and soon otherwise he will be on the outside looking in very soon. He's not as annoying as Lacey but he needs to step up.

It is still early but my 3rd nominee to get the boot would have to be Colleen. She is clueless. I'm sure she will be reducing the rates for her "cooking lessons" after she gets kicked off Hell's Kitchen. The look on Gordon's face when she said she also teaches manners was priceless! That had me rolling on the floor! What a joke she is!

Wil was the first one to be cut and I don't think he should have been cut. Sure he wasn't one of the strongest team members but he deserved another chance.

Favorite quote from week one: Concerning the signature dish, "I pulled it out of my ass"..."You need to put it back up your ass!"
